Products and Tools Mentioned in the Podcast
Hair Dryer: Shark Flex Hair Styling and Drying System
Step One: Epres Bond Repair – I spray this on my hair 10 minutes before washing.
Step Two: OGX Coconut Miracle Oil – I use this on the ends of my hair right after the Epres and before washing. I use this about once a week.
Step Three: Shampoo and Conditioner in the shower
- L’Oreal Ever Pure Shampoo and Conditioner set – This is the regular shampoo and conditioner I use.
- Living Proof Detox Shampoo – I use this shampoo in place of the one above once a week. It helps remove product build up.
- Pantene Miracle Rescue Mask – I use this conditioner in place of the one above once a week. It’s a great hair mask and makes my hair so soft.
Step Four: Living Proof Triple Bond Complex – Use as directed on damp hair right out of the shower. I use this once a week.
Step Five: OGX Bond Protein Repair Spray – I spray this on my damp hair right before blow drying (which is usually about 20 minutes after step four).
Step Six: OGX Bond Protein Repair Serum – A small amount in dry hair once a week before bed. I typically do this sometime between washes (not on hair wash night).
Step Seven: Morrocan Oil Perfect Defense Heat Protectant Spray – I spray this on dry hair before using a curling iron as a protectant.
For context, I typically wash and dry my hair twice a week and do it at night before bed. Then if I’m going to curl it at all or use other heat on it, I do that during the day. So the OGX Bond Protein Repair Serum is used on wet hair before drying. The Moroccan Oil Defense Spray is an additional protectant I just use on the days I’m going to be curling it or using a hot iron. I only do that a couple times a week.
